Job Description
Backup Direct provides managed IT services to thousands of UK businesses. With a suite of products and services available, we are looking to experienced individuals who can help deepen our relationship with existing customers. The role is largely office based.
Career DevelopmentThe starting point will be to learn about our products and services and our particular way of servicing customers. Depending upon your experience, you will be allocated accounts to manage of varying size and complexity. As your experience develops, you will be assigned to larger accounts and become more involved in higher value services.
Personal RequirementsThis role requires a confident and empathetic candidate with excellent communication skills. You must be a quick learner, being able to quickly absorb often complex and technical concepts. You must be able to communicate credibly and easily with senior business managers and IT professionals.
Academic RequirementsNormally, educated to degree standard with a technical or analytical background. More important, however, are required sales traits: empathy, energy and enthusiasm.
