Backup Exec Open File Manager Compatible with LiveVault

The online help text warns you that the LiveVault agent is incompatible with open file managers.  We can relax this caution for the most common case. Vertitas Backup Exec offers an open file manager option for tape backup.  We have successfully tested with this on both Windows 2000 and 2003.

This is good news because it means that a new prospect or customer can continue to use Veritas Backup Exec in parallel with LiveVault without having to uninstall the open file manager. New customers are often interested in running backups in parallel for the first month or so.
