Internet Explorer 6 (IE6) is almost nine years old and yet many companies still use it as their browser of choice, including the British government. Recently there have been calls for the government and other businesses to upgrade to a more recent version of the browser. Apparently there have been significant flaws noticed in its code requiring constant patching to reduce security risks.
