How does online backup work?

Once installed onto your PC or Server, the Backup Direct software will automatically detect any changes made to your data. Using your existing internet connection it then sends this data, fully encrypted, to two offsite high-security data centres in separate locations.

Should you lose files, you can download them back to your computer in minutes or, for larger data losses, Backup Direct can send data to you on a physical appliance. The service is fully FSA compliant and prevents you from putting your business at risk by using unreliable and manual offsite backup methods such as tape or USB Hard drive.
