How Online Backup for PCs Works...
Stage One
- Download and install the backup software
- Select the files you need to protect
- Press ‘backup now’
Stage Two
- Our software encrypts your data and uploads it to Backup Direct’s UK data centre
- Data is then mirrored to Backup Direct’s EU data centre
Stage Three
- Using the software, select a schedule for daily backups
- Relax
Stage Four
- Using the software or remote web portal, select the files needed for recovery
- Press ‘retrieve'
- Data is downloaded back onto your computer
