What is the load on the network when using the Remote Data Security & Control service?
Each client machine periodically checks in with the Remote Data Security & Control Server (check-in interval can be set by administrator). This transaction is very light and occurs at different times for each client. Network load scales geometrically as more machines are added. During installation and when new rules are downloaded, the network payload is slightly larger. However, these events occur infrequently and should not significantly impact network traffic.
