Enhances Microsoft EFS and BitLocker
Works in perfect harmony with Microsoft's inbuilt Encrypting File System and BitLocker encryption services. At file and folder level, Remote Data Security & Control manages the EFS for automatic encryption as well as the destruction of encryption keys if the computer is compromised. At the volume level, BitLocker ensures files cannot be accessed, even outside of the OS system, with Backup Direct enhancing and adding new functionality such as an Escrow service, secure decommissioning and key restoration.
