Job Description
Backup Direct combines enterprise-class technologies with service excellence. In order to deliver service excellence we are expanding our Service Team and are looking for technically-minded, customer-service professionals.
Career DevelopmentBackup Direct's Service Team offer three strands of service to our clients: 1) technical services 2) credit services and 3) customer services. This role will initially focus on customer services, handling the day-to-day contact with clients. You will ensure that the services delivered to each client far exceeds their expectations, through a mixture of pro-active monitoring and responsive service. As your experience increases, you will be asked to look after named accounts. Depending upon your own preference, your career could develop into a more technical role or a more customer service/account management role.
Personal RequirementsThis role requires a confident and empathetic candidate with excellent communication skills. You must be a quick learner, being able to quickly absorb often complex and technical concepts. You must be able to communicate credibly and easily with senior business managers and IT professionals. Empathy is a key competency.
Academic RequirementsNormally, educated to degree standard with a technical or analytical background. More important, however, are required sales traits: empathy, energy and enthusiasm.
