Job Description
We are looking here for individuals who can join our technical support team, on a structured training program.
The role is telephone and office-based as part of the help-desk, working closely with existing technical specialists, customers, partners and sales.
Career Development
Initially, you will be expected to learn key customer relationship and support skills on the help-desk, reporting to the Support Manager. This involves handling in-bound customer calls as well as pro-active out-bound activity. You will then be expected to deepen your knowledge in key technical areas such as Networking, Server Operating Systems, etc and obtain recognized certifications, with the support of the company.
The possibility then exists to develop your career as a pre- or post-sales engineer as both you and the company develops.
Personal Requirements
The role will suit a confident and empathetic person with excellent communication skills. You will be a quick learner, able to absorb complex and technical concepts. You will be able to communicate clearly with both technical and non-technical customers to solve problems.
Academic Requirements
Ideally, a degree with a technical or an analytical slant.
Salary
Starting salary will be £17,000 rising to £20,000 with experience, plus performance bonuses.
